MMORPG: Martial Gamer

Chapter 501 Peculiar Airship

"How many 110% completion level strategies did you sell today?" Wang Yu sent Fearless a message. Wang Yu was also aware that Fearless was selling both the 110% strategy and 100% strategy.

"All of the people that bought from me bought the 110% strategy. Why?" Fearless asked.

The 110% strategy had a higher completion level and was cheaper so people would naturally opt for it. Of course, when they failed the quest, they would head back to Fearless to purchase the 100% strategy even if it was for a higher price.

"F*ck..." Wang Yu was frowning. Since everyone bought the 110% strategy, it would be hard for him to find out who his competitor was.

"It seems like some other group has achieved 110% completion level too. Do you know anything about this?" Wang Yu tried his luck.

Fearless replied, "I know and their leader is called Hidden Lurker. He even sent me a message after completing the dungeon. Don’t tell me they have an expert like you in their team?"

Fearless had no idea that Hidden Lurker was also previously known as Spring-rain Pavillion. However, Hidden Lurker knew who Fearless was and the fact that he even sent a message to Fearless after completing the dungeon could mean that he was provoking him.

"Oh. So he is the one." Wang Yu nodded, "His team really do have an expert."

Since the team leader was Hidden Lurker, that Pugilist expert must be Nian Liuyun.

"For real? Who is it?" A curious Fearless asked.

"Nian Liuyun!" Wang Yu responded.

"Oh, it’s him. I’ve heard of him." Fearless replied upon hearing Nian Liuyun’s ID.

To many top experts and those who visited the forum frequently, Nian Liuyun was not an unfamiliar name. Naturally, Fearless would have heard of his name before. Rumours spread that he was incredibly powerful and unrivalled in Thunderstorm City. Moreover, he looked pretty handsome as well so he had countless fans across the game. He was also dubbed as the number one Pugilist in >.

This title originally belonged to Wang Yu but because Wang Yu was more low-key and as more and more gamers entered the game, he was slowly forgotten.

As Wang Yu’s friend, Fearless felt extremely unhappy that Wang Yu’s title was snatched away. This was why he remembered Nian Liuyun’s name so clearly.

"Speaking of which, are you better than him?" Fearless was also very curious about this.

Wang Yu pondered for a moment before answering, "We’ve never fight hand to hand before but he will definitely not be a match for me in real life. However, I am not too sure about us in the game."

Wang Yu was exceedingly confident about his own kungfu. Not to mention those younger than him, he was confident that there would not be a person who could match him two generations above him. Moreover, the Wang Clan and Li Clan were former acquaintance so in terms of martial arts, Wang Yu was minimally the same generation as Nian Liuyun’s grandfather.

Back then, Wang Yu exchanged a few blows with Nian Liuyun. He admitted that Nian Liuyun’s kungfu was solid and even slightly better than Evil Rampage. Similarly, Wang Yu had also fought with the Sixth Apostle before. From Wang Yu’s perspective, given Nian Liuyun’s ability back then, he would never be a match for the Sixth Apostle. However, Nian Liuyun completed the dungeon which meant that he must have had some lucky opportunity to improve tremendously over time.

In games, everyone’s fortuitous meetings or encounters varied from one another. An ordinary person could become a superman with the aid of the system. Moreover, Nian Liuyun’s kungfu was not weak, to begin with so Wang Yu would naturally not dare to say that Nian Liuyun would never be a match for him.

"I see..." Fearless understood what Wang Yu was implying. Even so, a person who could cause doubt in Wang Yu’s mind must be a person of tremendous power and unbelievable abilities. This made Fearless slightly worried and fearful.

"All you freaks should just stay home and practice your kungfu! Why are you even playing games?" Fearless said in an unhappy tone. Looking at the phenomenal rise of these martial experts, Fearless couldn’t help but think back of those days where he was considered an expert.

Hearing Fearless’ ridicule, Wang Yu could only smile awkwardly...

Presently, Wang Yu was on board the airship towards Titan City.

Because this was cross-regional transportation, there were only two airships in the morning and two airships in the evening that transports people from Twilight City to Titan City. Wang Yu was pretty fortunate to be able to catch the first flight in the morning.

After boarding the airship, Wang Yu suddenly felt something wrong with the atmosphere.

Titan City was located in the North Pole with nasty climate and savage monsters. This was why the number of players here was rather pathetic. When the game was first released, there were tens of thousands of people visiting this place. Afterwards, rumours spread that this became a void city but on this flight to Titan City, it was filled with people. This was what Wang Yu couldn’t comprehend.

Could everyone be looking for the Sacred Snow Lotus too? Wang Yu couldn’t help but feel shocked at how many competitors he had. Very soon, Wang Yu managed to overthrow his own guess.

Looking for the Sacred Snow Lotus was a quest for Pugilists and the airship was filled with not just Pugilists. In fact, there were quite a number of female gamers too.

Wang Yu casually asked a lady beside him, "Miss, what is going on? Is there some kind of activity at Titan City?"

As he asked, Wang Yu opened up his chat and was ready to inform his friends.

The lady turned her head and glanced at Wang Yu. Looking at Wang Yu’s Pugilist outfit, she turned away in disgust and shouted, "Scram!"

"F*ck..." Wang Yu was astonished at the lady’s disgusted reaction.

"Miss, I am just asking. I don’t think I’ve provoked you in any way right?" Wang Yu replied.

"Do you think trash looking person like you is fitting of a Pugilist?" The lady was thoroughly disgusted with Wang Yu as she left and found another place to sit.

"Why do this concerns you..." Wang Yu was utterly confused. Wasn’t Pugilist looked down on by everyone? Since when was this job held in such high regards?

However, Wang Yu was certain that this lady was definitely not from Twilight City.

Twilight City had about over hundreds of thousands of players and Wang Yu was naturally not able to recognise all of them. However, one look at the woman and the way she dressed, Wang Yu could tell that she wasn’t from Twilight City, Moreover, the way she treated and greeted Wang Yu was also something Wang Yu had never experienced before in Twilight City.

Ever since the release of the faction dungeon, there was an influx of visitors to Twilight City. Therefore, it wasn’t surprising to see foreigners there but it was still weird that so many people were heading to Titan City. At this moment, Wang Yu suddenly realised that these players were queuing up towards a target. It almost seemed like they were surrounding someone.

"Is there an event here?" At the thought of this, Wang Yu scratched his head and squeezed his way forward.

After tremendous effort, Wang Yu finally squeezed to the front. When he saw the person everyone was surrounding, he couldn’t help but exclaim, "It’s you."
