Chapter 192 192 – For The Top
Phisovia stopped in front of the open gate of the arena, then took off her robe. In that instant, the succubi gasped. Especially Xenora as someone who accompanied the succubus for a long time.
There was no sign that she had been unconscious for months. Her skinny body is much fuller now, though a little slimmer than before she was in a coma. The look in her green eyes brightened again, her face was no longer pale, and her lips were perfectly pink.
She looks fantastic in a black bodysuit that accentuates every curve of her body.
However, what surprised the succubus the most was perhaps not all of that but what was on the red-haired woman\'s head.
There are no more little wings there. Now she has a pair of horns instead. It\'s not a strange thing. Most succubi have horns, and only a minority have tiny wings.
It\'s just that the horns are so identical to mine. Lexi didn\'t even know what was really going on and could only guess.
It could be because too much of me has gone into that woman.
"Long time no see, Xenora." Phisovia walked into the cage with firm steps, even though more than a week ago, she still had to use a wheelchair. "Do you miss me?"
Xenora wiped away her tears. "I do miss you, mad… I miss you, Phisovia. But sorry, I can\'t let you become general. You\'ve been gone too long."
A chuckle escaped Phisovia\'s mouth. "Well, it really hurts, you know? You used to be my second-in-command, yet you doubt me."
"Trust me, I don\'t want this either." Xenora choked with tears. "But we have no other choice."
Phisovia folded her arms across her chest, smiled, and showed no hesitation at all. "After this, there is only a small chance that our paths will cross. I wish you success with your new job. Don\'t worry. I will lead the succubus regiment properly."
"You speak as if you have already won," Nymira replied in a sharp tone. "You don\'t have experience leading a large number of members. How dare you claim to be able to lead us? I\'m only a second-in-command, but my experience…."
"How about we end this chat." Phisovia interrupted the short-haired succubus. "I want all this to be over quickly. There\'s no use talking too much."
The muscles on Nimyra\'s face tensed even more.
Sighing, Xenora gave her second-in-command a final whisper, glanced briefly at Phisovia, then exited the arena.
She then stood by my chair, and we just exchanged glances for a moment
I waited until the arena doors were locked, then shouted. "Let the fight begin!"
Each of them extended their respective weapons. Nimyra with her tail, while Phisovia with her hair.
I felt like my heart was being hit by something when I saw the beautiful flutter of that red hair. Unknowingly it turned out that I also missed those things.
However, the one who took the initiative to attack first was Nymira. She kept slashing her tail at the former general.
And Phisovia just stood where she was, folding her arms across her chest. Keep moving her hair to fend it all off. She slightly lifted her chin and gave a cold look.
That woman shows a high aura of authority.
"Attack me, you bitch!" Nymira started to look frustrated because none of her attacks hit the target. "Don\'t just stand there like that!"
Phisovia doesn\'t budge. She only moved her eyes to follow her opponent\'s movements.
It wasn\'t without reason that Phisovia was fighting like that, and it wasn\'t because she wanted to show off her toughness.
Ultimately, what I did to Phisovia could only heal her to this extent. Yes, after months of unconsciousness, no magic can completely heal her that quickly.
However, waiting until she is fully recovered will make the situation even more complicated. Xenora will have to be the judge soon, after all.
Even so, that does not mean we give up. There was still something she kept for the time being, a plan that the two of us made.
"Tsk!" Nymira flew behind Phisovia. "I want to fight you from the front because I still respect you! But you\'re just standing still like that! It\'s your own fault!"
Phisovia managed to fend off her enemy\'s attack before turning around. That was because Nymira was too stupid. She spoke, thus indicating her location.
I clenched my fist as Phisovia blocked more attacks. It\'s been way too long then we had planned. She did look unfazed by it all, but I think she was desperately holding on to even standing.
And finally, a single strike from Nymira grazed Phisovia\'s cheek. I held my breath. Especially when she countered her opponent\'s strike.
This was beyond the plan. Phisovia shouldn\'t have attacked...
Wait. Nymira flew back to where she was at the start of the fight.
What happened next made the succubi gasp again. Instead of landing, Nymira got stuck in the air.
As Phisovia turned again, Nymira\'s arms stretched out.
The succubi were silent because of that strange thing. It took them a few moments before they realized that Nymira was bound by strands of hair from all over.
It takes some time to string those strands, which have to be slung to the metal bars first. It was to provide sufficient grip while Phisovia was pulling those strands.
She couldn\'t do the grip she usually did because her strength had not fully recovered.
"Ugh." Nymira winced in pain as the strands pressed tighter against the flesh on her body and limbs. Those things entangled her so much that she couldn\'t move. "H-how could this happen?"
Perhaps at the beginning, Phisovia had assembled all of this and only had to execute it. But his plan went awry because her opponent had moved.
But, in the end, Phisovia managed to get Nymira into her original position. And the red-haired succubus did all that with a calm expression and almost without moving her body.
Amazing.
Smiling with satisfaction, Phisovia approached her opponent, ignoring the rush of blood on her cheek.
